It has come to my attention that some ProDAT tools sold over the last year are defective.

The problem is that the drill bit is set into the handle at the wrong height (too high).  The result is that the delays are drilled deeper than expected and the delay times are too short by as much as five seconds.  This can be catastrophic!   The correct overall length to the tip of the drill bit is 1.675" (see below).

 

Please check your ProDAT.  If you have a bad one, send the drill piece only (keep the base) to:
